About Us

At The Woodlands Dentist, we try to make our office as welcoming and home-like for our patients as possible, since we believe that comfort and trust are the biggest factors in a positive experience at the dentist.

We also strive to accommodate our patients’ busy schedules. We’re open Monday – Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm and Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm and offer flexible appointments. We also have four hygienists on staff for your convenience in scheduling cleanings.

Introducing Our Doctors

Meet Dr. Joshua Nellis

Dr. Nellis has been practicing dentistry since 2001, and the following year he took over his current practice in The Woodlands. He enjoys being an integral part of The Woodlands community.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dr. Nellis moved to Houston with his family in 1991, where he spent his last two years of high school. He attended undergraduate school at The University of Texas at Austin, after which he earned his dental degree from the Texas A & M College of Dentistry in Dallas.

Dr. Nellis enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and has expertise in crowns, bridges, and dental implants. He is an active member of the dental community, with memberships in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Greater Houston Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. When he’s not working, Dr. Nellis loves to spend time with his wife and five children, and he enjoys participating extensively in local homeschooling groups.
Meet Dr. Morgan Haynes

Dr. Haynes is originally from Spring TX and is excited to be able to serve her hometown community here in The Woodlands!

Dr. Haynes received her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, where she went on to receive her dental degree at Texas A&M University (Baylor) College of Dentistry in Dallas.

On weekends Dr. Haynes enjoys visiting Lake Conroe with her husband and son, as well as her dogs Chewy and Poe. She enjoys crafting and puzzles and is an avid Harry Potter fan. She is always looking for recommendations on a new book, movie, or TV show so make sure to let her know your favorites!

Dee Dee, Registered Dental Hygienist

Dee Dee received her Dental Hygiene Degree in 2013 in St. Louis, and she joined our office in 2015 after her husband was transferred to Texas with United Airlines. She has 19 years of customer service experience as a Flight Attendant/Customer Service Agent for United Airlines. She and her husband are proud parents of three grown children and two fur-babies, Titus and Tank. When she is not caring for patients, she enjoys boating on Lake Conroe, live music, outdoor dining and reading a good book.
Eva, Registered Dental Hygienist

Eva is a native Texan who traveled and lived all over the United States for most of her adult life. She graduated hygiene school in South Carolina, and joined the practice in 2016. She enjoys working out, gardening, hiking, and traveling. Eva has two children, one is pursing her PhD in plant pathology, the other is in elementary school. Most of all, Eva loves to bring her sense of humor and positivity to every one she meets, especially our patients!
Anita, Registered Dental Hygienist

Hello, my name is Anita, I am a native Houstonian who attended Coastal Bend College for Dental Hygiene. I’ve been in dentistry for over 20 years starting out as a dental assistant. I love connecting with all our patients and helping them maintain their beautiful smiles. In my spare time I enjoy camping, gardening, and exploring new cuisine.

Hello my name is Angela, a Houston native born and raised, I earned my hygiene degree from The University of Texas school of Dentistry and having over a decade of dental experience my favorite aspect of being a dental hygienist is establishing a positive relationship with my patients and helping them achieve good oral health but most importantly I strive to help people understand how to maintain a healthy smile that will last them a lifetime!
